Mekala Transports was established way back in 1992 by the enterprising and visionary Mr. V. Uthayasurian. He started as a daily wage worker but always had a desire to be self-employed and started out with one auto rickshaw. He planned to enter commercial vehicles segment and started Mekala Transports with one vehicle.

Over the ensuing years, under his dynamic leadership,the company’s fleet grew more and more.
